Stay with us at Elijah's Retreat
Discover the joy and serenity of Elijah’s Retreat by reserving a cabin for just $75 per night! A $30 deposit is due at booking, with the remainder payable at check-in. You may modify your reservation up to two weeks before your stay, and your reservation fee will be waived for your new dates during the 2025 season.
What’s Included:
Your cabin rental grants access to all activities at the Retreat, ensuring endless family fun and adventure. Enjoy free Wi-Fi in the Welcome Center and Activity Barn, along with a TV and DVD player in each cabin. The Welcome Center also offers a collection of movies, board games, and puzzles for added entertainment.
No Cleaning Fees:
We keep costs low by not charging a cleaning fee. We kindly ask guests to clean their cabins before departure to ensure they’re ready for the next family. All cleaning supplies are provided in each cabin.
Important Details:
- Linens: Bring your own comforters or blankets, as well as flat sheets if preferred. We provide fitted sheets, pillows with pillowcases, and towels.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in is anytime after 3 PM, and checkout is at 11 AM.
- Service Animals Only: While we love pets, only service animals are allowed on the property.
- Prohibited Items: No drugs, weapons, or smoking of any kind are allowed in the cabins.

Ridgley Cabin
Escape to a tranquil cabin nestled in the serene Piney Woods of East Texas. The Ridgley Cabin (Cabin 1) offers a peaceful retreat with two cozy bedrooms, one bathroom with towels provided, a spacious living room, a full kitchen, and a laundry area.
The Children’s Room features a set of twin bunk beds and a twin bed with trundle bed under, while the Master Bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed. All beds have fitted sheets and pillows with pillowcases. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans, and silverware. The kid-friendly bedroom also includes a small collection of toys, a mini trampoline, and books.
Step outside to a private bonfire pit located just behind the cabin, with firewood provided. Relax on the porch swing or in the hammocks, perfect for birdwatching or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The cabin is also conveniently located across from the One-Acre Playground.
Cabin 2

What are the Dates for the 2025 Season?
Elijah’s Retreat 2025 Season opens on March 1st, 2025 and Closes on November 10th, 2025.
Are you open 7 days a Week?
Elijah’s Retreat is open 7 days a week; however, the Ranch Hand Experience and the Horseback Riding are not available on Sunday.
May I Check-In on Sunday?
Elijah’s Retreat is not available for check-in on Sunday; however, you are encouraged to include Sunday in your reservation. For example, you may check-in on Friday and check-out on Sunday, or you may check-in on Friday and check-out on Tuesday.
When does the Calendar open for Reservations?
Is there a Grocery Store Nearby?
Yes!! The city of Jacksonville is only 10 minutes away. In Jacksonville there is a Brookshires Grocery Store, Super 1 Grocery Store and a Super Walmart. You can also order groceries online an pick up on your way to Elijah’s Retreat!
What forms of payment are accepted??
Elijah’s Retreat accepts credit/debit cards and Paypal for online payments for reservation and booking fees. We accept cash, check, Venmo, Paypal, credit/debit in person at Elijah’s Retreat!
Are all Linens Provided?
Elijah’s Retreat provides a fitted sheet, pillow cases and Towels for the bathroom and Kitchen. Please bring your own Blankets and comforters from home. If you forget we will have some available on the property.
Is the Kitchen fully Stocked?
Elijah’s Retreat provides a full fridge without an ice machine, stove, oven, microwave, basic coffee maker, toaster, blender, basic pots & pans, outdoor grill and basic dishes. There is not a dishwasher in the cabin so you may consider bringing disposable plates, silverware and cups.
Elijah’s Retreat does not provide coffee, coffee filters, spices, oil, condiments or ice. There is a Walmart and Super 1 Foods 10 minutes away for shopping!

If you are unable to find a reservation that works for your family you

Are there Restaurants Nearby?
Yes!! The city of Jacksonville is only 10 minutes away. In Jacksonville there are many restaurants and a complete list is available in your cabin booklet. No restaurants will deliver to Elijah’s Retreat however you may call and order to go and easily pick up in Jacksonville.
